A Day at Sea

We spent our first full day aboard at sea. We didn't do a whole lot. We watched a presentation about the shore excursions and true to form in the ship's theater, Ava fell asleep.We later spent some time at the swimming pool getting some sun and Jasmine spent time in the kids club. She loved the kids club - it was hard to pry her away.We were told that Jasmine had been selected to be a contestant on a game show aboard called Who's the Boss - a quiz show for kids and parents and she was the one selected for her age group. I was the parent who went on stage with her. It was quite an experience, let me tell you. Jasmine stole the show, and I am not sure if it was always in a good way. She had a little fire lit under her and she was constantly trying to be funny and steal the spotlight. We do have this on film and if I can get it onto the computer, you may get to watch it someday. The most embarrassing thing about it was that the ship recorded it and it played in a loop during the ship's programming the rest of the time we were there and people recognized us on the ship as Jasmine's parents and would constantly say hi to Jasmine - she loved being a little celebrity.We had dinner and then Jasmine went off to the kids club and we watched another show - aaahh the life we led!When we picked Jasmine up after the show, she had made a princess crown and demanded to be photographed!
