Ahoy Matey!

We arrived at a great time to the harbor on the 27th to board the ship. We had made the mistake last year on our first cruise ever to arrive at the time the ship told us only to encounter a long line and a painfully slow boarding process.
We were tired of being in the car and being on our way to our vacation so we were all anxious to get on board. It was about lunchtime when we got on the ship so Laura headed to work out and we headed to lunch!Our room was ready at about 3 PM and we were happy to check it out and prepare for the emergency drill. This is something I think is good and funny at the same time. It is also a great photo opportunity!After the drill. we went back to our rooms to await our bags and to freshen up. Then we went on deck for the sailing off party! They had live music and the view was spectacular as we left the harbor.We had our first fancy dinner aboard and then took Jasmine to the kids club so we could catch our first show - which was a preview of the entertainment we would see for the next 6 nights.
Ava only lasted a few minutes and then fell asleep on Daddy. It was a great first night aboard.
