First Family Outing - Celebrating Marcia's Birthday!

We ventured out for a real family outing to help Marcia celebrate her 40th birthday. Marcia came up with a great idea to celebrate at the Museum of American History and send us on a scavenger hunt. We also decided this would be the perfect time to try out our new sit and stand stroller for the girls.
The museum was super fun. We only got a chance to check out the bottom floor for a few hours while we searched for the answers to the questions but we had a good time doing it. Jasmine had a great time running around and even enjoyed some of the exhibits.
We saw Julia's Child's Kitchen exhibit and then Jasmine and Daddy spent some time in the Spark Lab, where Jasmine got to create a piece of artwork and also check out different experiments. We had some fun with pinwheels and retro toys and Jasmine got into an exhibit where you got to talk into a microphone and an electronic device showed you the sound waves of the different pitches of your voice.Ava was a perfectly behaved little girl - she slept most of the time, only waking up to eat and check out the group when we all met up again. After we spent time having fun, we all met up to compare our questions and answers and also eat cupcakes (by Occasionally Cake of course!). After taking a few family shots, we left and met the group for dinner at Applebees. It was a nice time, we all got to get to know each other and chat. So, Happy Birthday Marcia and thanks for including us!
