The Child Going Away Open House

We had a few people over to our house the evening of our anniversary for a dessert open house for the Child Family. If you do not yet know who the Child family is after reading our blog, well, then now is not the time to tell you how close of friends they are to us.
We had people come over, bring a dessert to share and have a little conversation and say their goodbyes to Jeff, Jill, Ryan and Sarah. Marcia and I made a cake that was a representation of the Arizona flag and it was a hit.The Childs were tired after moving all day (Lorne went to help out) but they were in good spirits and happy to see everyone. It was also exciting because towards the end of the small fiesta, Jasmine made it home and we got to see our very sleepy girl after 10 days apart from her! It was a very nice evening.
