Pirates Cove

Since I couldn't take Jasmine to a water park on her birthday, we decided to join our friends Mary & Chloe for a fun outing at Pirates Cove. We chose a very sunny and hot day so it was perfect for getting into a cool pool.
Mary did a double french braid in Jasmine's hair and so she and Chloe had matching hairdos. We took turns taking both girls into the pool so one of us could sit with Ava. Jasmine was cautious in the water at first but soon she got used to it and was all over the place.The other cool thing about this water park is that they had a sand area where the kids can play in the sand as if they were at the beach and they also have some fun water features for the kids to play with as well. I think Jasmine would have spent all day there if she had been allowed. She absolutely loves to play in the sand.We also hit the baby pool for a while so that the girls could play and the adults could sit, watch and chat. When we all needed a break, we had hot dogs and chips for lunch. Before we left, I decided it would be fun to have Ava put her feet into the water to see how she reacted. At first, she wasn't too keen but then after about 15 seconds, she seemed to like it.It was a really fun day and it is something I just absolutely love doing - being with my girls and friends and spending time enjoying life.
