Family Gathering to Celebrate Abuela

Since we were all so busy on the fourth and we all like to get together to celebrate Abuela's birthday, we got together the next day at my uncle's house for a BBQ and family gathering. The other thing was a surprise - Fernando was in town with his girlfriend, Stephanie, whom we had never met before.This was especially great as Fernando had not yet met little Ava and this was a great opportunity for them to meet. It is always sweet to see he family with my kids and know how much love there is in the family. We may not always agree but we love each other and these family gatherings strengthen our bond and it is so worthwhile to go to these events.We ate, we laughed, we played and we talked and I had a great time watching everyone and taking it all in.
