So lately I have been thinking that I don't want to be one of those old women who dies with a house full of useless junk and then have to have people resent having to sort through it and clean the place up to tidy up my affairs. OK, so I know I am young but if you don't think of these things when you are young you end up like the old woman in the last sentance. So, I hired a couple of teenagers last week and I worked alongside them and we cleaned and organized the garage. Then, last night, Marcia and I cleaned out the pantry. Man, it feels so good and I have made a commitment to myself that it will NOT get out of hand. I don't want to buy junk we don't need.
Pretty clean space!
I have decided that I will do this activity with every room in the house - then things will be orderly and all we will have to do is the upkeep! Why didn't I start this when I was less busy?
Nicely organized food storage

I'm so impressed! Good for you. Everyone needs to do that - especially me!
Want to come and clean out my garage? hehe...nah, it isn't that bad!
Good for you. Glad to see you got it done.

Congrats, I do my purging slowly so James doesn't catch on.
We don't have that much stuff, but James always gets feisty when I start to suggest that something has to go, even things that he hasn't used or worn since we got married 5+ years ago.
