Jasmine's First Violin Recital

Jasmine had her first violin recital and we were all very excited to see her perform for the first time on an instrument. We arrived early so that her teacher, Jason Day, could tune her violin before the performance. We noticed right away how hot it was in the auditorium. It was stifling in there.

As Jasmine waited in line to get her violin tuned, my parents arrived with my grandma and then a few minutes later, Ryan and Roman arrived. Jasmine was very excited to see everyone there to watch her and she was excited to play in front of everyone.
When it was her turn, Jasmine marched right up to the stage and got set up faster than Eleanor, her friend and pre-twinkle counter-part (also her teacher's daughter) did. She grinned as she played before she was supposed to start and Daddy caught the whole thing on camera - hence the video.

Afterward, we decided to go before all the solos started as Jasmine was going to need to eat and it was still hotter than Hades in that auditorium. We took pictures with the family outside and the went to the Cheesecake Factory to celebrate and have lunch together. It was a really great afternoon and we were so proud of Jasmine.
