Snow - or Lack Thereof

I was grumpy all winter because we didn't really get any snow.  Other people in Northern Virginia did, but we really didn't get anything I can really call snow.  A dusting when you can still see grass that melts by the early afternoon cannot be labeled as having had a snow.  I think this year, Mount Vernon was in a snow vortex.  It was sad because my kids never really got to play in it, as it was mostly just wet and it all turned to mud.  Here are two pictures, the first of the front yard and the second of the backyard after a March dusting...better luck this next winter.
