It was time for a trimming of hair. Jasmine's was super long and hadn't been trimmed in over a year and Ava...well, Ava needed a trim done by a professional. She had never had a haircut and she was almost 4 years old. I should re-phrase, I had never taken her for her first haircut because twice she had found scissors and tried to take care of it herself. I had kept waiting for the pieces she cut to grow back and her hair grows slower than Jasmine's hair.
I took them to a local salon called Yvonne's. The ladies there were very nice and they did a nice job trimming the girls' hair. Ava was a bit fidgety but she did a good job even when they curled her hair with a curling iron.
