Cookies for Mother's Day
Same 2 year old - cake for her school class to enjoy!
A cake for a 40th birthday party. When we delivered it, a little boy that was about 4 years old said, "Ecuse me, are you on the cake channel?" I replied, "No, not yet but hopefully someday" and he looked a bit dissapointed and mumbled, "OK" and walked away. It was totally cute!

Every year, the preschool has a graduation for the kids going to kindergarten and a fly up ceremony/program for the kids who go on to the next class. I went last year as Kirsten was "graduating" so to speak and also made the cookies for the event. I was again asked this year to make the cookies and joined in the festivities as Jasmine will be attending the school again in the fall in the 3 year old class. Her class didn't participate in the fly up day but Jasmine joined in singing with the 3 year old class since she was there and her teachers teach the 3 year olds too. It was pretty cute. My cookies were a big hit and I look forward to continuing my relationship with the school!

We went to Vocelli pizza and got sandwiches and chicken fingers for the kids and we went down by the river. It was a perfect evening to be eating outside (and mind you, I don't usually like to eat outside). After dinner, Jill blew bubbles for the kids and I had fun taking pictures. 
When it started to get dark, we came back to our house and the kids took turns driving Jasmine's car and running around. And after putting the kids to bed we played Scrabble (Lorne beat us all) and had fun chatting and spending time together. We just love our friends and really enjoy the activities we do to cultivate our relationship!
Jasmine had her last day of preschool before summer break and before moving up to her new class next fall. Sad - she was so upset. She couldn't understand why she wasn't going to school anymore for a while. I too was sad and began thinking year-round school is not such a bad idea as I once thought! Just kidding - while it is nice when she is in school and I get a lot done, nothing is better than being with my little girl.
We often go to the park with Kelleen every chance we get when it is a nice day. Two weeks ago, even Roman came with us (with his mom Casey of course) while they were over for a visit. Jasmine is getting so active when she climbs and runs and it is fun to watch her and not be scared she is going to fall off! She loves to play with her friends, especially Marin and Kirsten and that is good for me because I love to hang out with Kelleen. 
Jasmine has also been enjoying her car she got for Christmas. She was out last week on the lawn playing with Daddy and he was teaching her how to steer the car. She is getting there but still needs practice. It was way cute when she parked her car in between Mommy and Daddy's cars. She knew where she fit in and we had to snap a picture. 
We really are enjoying spring, I am not happy about summer coming as I detest the intense heat and humidity but I know that Jasmine will love going to the pool and I will love to take her to keep cool!
So I looked up a recipe and luckily we had all the ingredients at hand and had a fabulous time making them. Jasmine loved watching the popcorn machine pop out the corn and she helped when it was time to form the balls. 
We ate some and they were yummy! The recipe we used made about 20 popcorn balls and while we shared a few, we ate many of them ourselves! 
Jasmine also took a few to school in her lunch. I am including the recipe at the bottom in case you want to give them a try! They were simple and fun
